In B&H Exports we started manufacturing shampoos and conditioners in 2007 under the brand name RYK meaning “Rich” in Afrikaans. It is now marketed internationally to clients. It underwent extensive brand testing and came out a clear winner among other names in the panel. At first, the formulation which we made was for our internal use as we had to maintain high standards in our hair products. Customers across the world soon grew to appreciate the fragrance and the feel of the hair after applying the shampoo and conditioner. Having liked the product especially for the fragrance which stood out among many, requests began to come in, which motivated us to rethink our strategy and gave us the impetus to commercialize the entire venture to manufacture and supply to customers. Thus in 2015 we built an exclusive factory with state of the art manufacturing equipment and with all quality checking mechanisms. We have improvised the formulation following European norms and also use the highest quality ingredients. Webegan marketing in December 2015.
